What are you doing for Thanksgiving? Any special family plans for the weekend? I'd love to hear what everyone is doing.

Jesse and I will trek across the yard to my parents house. I'm making the cranberry conserve and the stuffed dates. My sister and her dh will also be there. Then afterwards Jesse and I will head to my il's house for dessert. llllllllllllllllllllllllllll (<--- just got chocolate on the l key and had to get it off, sorry). Then my favorite part of the day! My mil, sil, niece and I all sit down in the living together with all the ads and plan our attack for Friday a.m.!!! We leave town at 5:15 Friday a.m. to Jacksonville.
Oh, I forgot Wednesday night Jesse and I and a whole bunch of friends will all go see a showing of Elf at the outdoor amphitheater here. We've been several times to see Raiders of the Lost Ark and E.T. LOVE IT and it's free!

I'm playing organ for our church service in the morning and Claire is singing with the school. Then we'll head to my mom's. My sister and her family will be there. Looking forward to spending time with my nephews. I think one of my cousins and her Dh will be there too. Should be a relaxing day. We'll come home Thurs. night and I'll go shopping on Fri. Sat. Dh is going to a Michigan State b-ball game with his dad. They'll have fun, I'll be with the kids all day.

I'm hosting and this is a little like Robbie's guest list
Let's see my mom is coming with my niece who is 8 (my brother's child from his ex girlfriend) and my niece's brother and sister (not my brothers' kids) I'm actually looking forward to it because we are NOT having dh's family
Friday I plan to do some shopping in the AM and then wrap presents while the girls are napping. Sun. we would like to take the girls to see SAnta at Ediville Rail Road and see the Christmas display and ride the train.
As I type I'm making a new recipe for gravy"Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things"

So far it looks like we will be home for Thanksgiving and will walk down to my parents house for dinner. Usually, I have the turkey cooking at my house and my mom has all the other stuff. Today the kids and I are going to buy some pies and anything else tasty we can find. Dh is itching to go out shopping on Friday, which is weird because normally he HATES shopping in crowds. I will probably look at the ads and see if there is any bargain really worth going out for.
