About LinkBacksI know that the official start of Fall is two weeks away, but college football season started last week and that is the signal for Fall in our houseI changed my outside decorations last night and put out a couple of mums. I just love the change in the air, it is crisp and the sky becomes bluer as the summer haze disappears.
I am eagerly anticipating sunny Saturdays and Sundays with a pot of chili or beef stew simmering on the stove while football is on the tv and the windows are open with a breeze ruffling the curtains.
I don't know why I love it so, but I'm excited just thinking about the season

Fall in the midwest is especially wonderful..Visiting the orchard just makes it complete.

I totally agree. Fall is my favorite season too! I am so psyched that football season has started and I can't wait for it to get cooler. You can't really tell it is fall yet here when you are outside, but every year one day you walk outside the the air and the light are different. It always gets me going for some reason. Football, pumpkins and mums, jackets and boots, yea!

There's nothing like Fall in New England The colors of the leaves are just GORGEOUS!!!! It's my new favorite season. Spring used to be my favorite but now it rains all spring here

Fall is and has always been my favorite season. It is still hot here though. Here's hoping it cools off soon.

I love fall too! I just love the smell in the air. Oh, and you are so right about the chilis and stews, yummy.
Plus I'm exited to wear some long sleeve stuff again, lol.
