Newspaper coupons?

I am seriously thinking of stopping the weekly paper (we get Thurs, Fri, Sunday for $2.50 a week).

It is $130 a year, and I never read it! I cut the coupons, and it is hit or miss if I use them (I am trying to get better, but while I am trying to cook with less convenience foods, the coupons are wasted).

I can print coupons from the internet. We have a new Aldi that just opened that I will try.

Can someone give me a good reason to keep the subscription?

If you don't read the paper, I would drop it. I will probably not renew mine since I can read the main articles online. Most coupons in the paper can be found online (actually I find better online). However, find out if stores in your area will take them. Our local grocery store just started taking internet coupons and they have to be for $1.00 or less, can't be buy one, get one free and can't be for free items. Our Wal-mart seems to take any internet coupons.

I agree. I would stop the subscription. We never read ours either and if we were out ~ we'd grab one to read. They accumulated faster than we could read them.

I just heard of this a few days ago:
