Hi everyone .
I know it's been a long time since I updated on the PCOS bb . Been so busy ! Im lucky I can remember to post on the due date bb lol . Pregnancy brain !

A lil update ... all seems to still be good . I did however end up with gestational diabetes . Needed pills to help . I check blood sugars 4-5x a day OUCH ! Baby is measuring 2 weeks bigger then he should . They have been talking to me about c-section , for lots of reasons . His size , my pelvic bone , uterine rupture . so on .... So I think it is the way to go . To be safe . Doctor told us to pick a day ... December 16th or the 18th . I guess I wont be making it to my due date which is December 25th ! Thats ok with me , now I can eat ham with the rest of the family lol . I start this week going to my doctor 2x a week now . Im almost 33 weeks . Im not feeling so well lately , was in the ER Sunday , Ive got regular flu , bronchitis , and ear infection in both ears . Plus a tooth ache ! I think Im getting better now though ... no more fever today . Thank goodness , now I can get back on track with getting my house deep cleaned and in order before company starts showing up ! YIKES . Im ready to meet my baby ! Ill try posting some pics .

Hope everyone is well , and I miss y'all lots .
Best wishes and baby dust to each and every one !

Oh Man... you are getting SO CLOSE!!!! YAY! Cute little pumpkin you got there! I hope you start feeling better!!

As for the c/s.. take it and run with it! If I can give a few words of advise...
1) WALK as soon as they want you to.. you will thank them for making you!!
2) Bring your own alarm clock, pad of paper and pen.. keep track or have someone else do so... of your meds.. do NOT let the RNs lag and ask for an anti inflammatory as soon as you can eat if you are not offered motrin!!
3) I brought my own overnight pads and big girl panties.. so I wouldnt have to wear the mesh thing.. helped SO MUCH!!

So.. thats what I got for you! Keep us posted!!

Thank you al for the well wishes . I am feeling so much better . Nothing left but blocked ears !

Had another appt. Thursday , passed the first of many stress test . Baby was very active . More so after the doctor came in .... wonder if she is his first crush lol ! He kicked and kicked everytime she spoke . They have set all my stress test up for Mondays and Thursdays . This is wearing me out ! Im still measuring big . But everything seems to be ok . We talked with the doctor Thursday and decided on December 18th for the c-section ... I must say I'm scared to death and not of the c-section either . Im sooooooooo scared of the spinal !!!! Like anxiety kind of scared . Get sick kind of scared . Nightmares kind of scared ! Im tellin ya , Im really freaked out .

Ferret Mommy - Thanks for the advice !!! I need all I can get . Anything you can think of , please share away ! Im all ears .

Thanks again .

Michele - I also had a c-section and it really wasn't bad at all. The spinal wasn't fun, but it wasn't that bad. It was over pretty quickly, and once the medicine goes in you will feel no pain. I definately agree with keeping on top of the meds after the surgery. Another suggestion I have is if you have a 2 story house, try to have someplace set up downstairs for you to sleep for those first few days home and also have a set up for the baby there. You will not feel like doing stairs very much those first few days. If you can have help for the first week or so that will also be great. That way you can get some extra rest and recover. Good luck. In the end all of this is so worth it. I had a rough pregnancy and swore I would never do it again. My little guy is 4 months old now and being a mommy is the best thing in the world. I definately want to have another one in a year or so.
