You have your monitor back right?? When does it ask you to start testing? Mine was always fairly good about it once it got to 'know' my cycles it really didn't have me waste the test strips. Good thing because they aren't cheap. I hope and pray this is the month for you!!

I have the monitor back, but its brand new.. so I have to ignore it.. and go with what I know... The first month or after clearing the memory.. CD6 start and till after O.. so if I dont O till CD 18.. then I would be testing till cd20..and that too many strips! I usually start testing around CD 12 or 13. The month of the m/c I had just cleared the memory since it had been some messed up months and it was the first post start of Met.

When I take charge of my strip usage.. I can get 4-5 months from the box... lol I just need one or 2 days of low.. then 1-2 days of high and 1 peak!!

Winnie- How are ya doing?

This week was HARD mostly because of all the things I needed to complete.
My Nannie fell down and broke her hip. She had Surgery Thursday. I finally got to get to the hospital lastnight. Dh and I statyed until 11pm. She is recovering but a little steps back lastnight. She needed One Unit of blood. Her urine output was bad hardly any at all. Her BP was very low. The doctor told me before I left that he feels that the blood will help with everything.
Dh and I are going to the North Texas State Fair tonight to view my pictures I entered.
It will be fun to get a away tongiht.
Monday will be my first day back with Kids It will be a little crazy but hope it is fun.
My diet low-carb is going better than ever and walking is great other thank it has been very hard to find time to do it.
Take care You guys
Hugs

luv - you're back at school already? Wow! We go back in another two weeks!

Been on Metformin for 8 days now...not a nice little pill is it. I told my husband today that in the future when we have a 13 year old kid that gives us attitude I will definitely mention all of this crap I went through to get him or her here! Waiting for AF to arrive, should be tonite or tomorrow thanks to Provera.

AshRS- Sorry you are having a bad time with Met. My first time I took it that was so bad. I did start to understand what I could and could not eat. For me what triggers the bad bathroom episodes is CARBS and Sugar.
I went back on Met last year after a year off and have not had much issues at all. I eat a low carb diet. I do not eat sugar like cakes or cookies ice cream. I do not drink any sugar soda either. I found that soda with sugar will send me to the potty all day.
I take my Met one 500mg at breakfast and 1000mg at dinner. I do sometimes get nausea from the Met in the morning when I wake up from the Met at night. I just take tums and makes things better.
Hang in there I hope your body adjusts soon.
AFM- Dh and I went to Fair tongiht and Rodeo. I entered 2 pictures in the Fair and I placed. I WON First Place for one picture and 3rd Place for another picture in a different catigory. I am happy.
My Nannie walked today from the bed to door in her hospital room. She still not out of the woods. They are giving her another Unit of Blood tonight . Doctor said it is very normal after hip surgery. We will be going to vist her tomorrow afternoon.
Have a great weekend y'all

Luv... YAY! Happy to hear the results of the Fair!

I hope your Nannie feels well soon.

AFM.. I dont know why I am still crampy... maybe will have some good follies this month?? I usually only have AF cramps for a day or so.. then O cramps a week before then before actual O... so.. who knows... Maybe I will start my monitor sooner than my normal to make sure I dont miss anything.
