Anything I can do?

Hey all!! There were quite a few posting on the updates threads for a while and then it seems like most everyone vanished. If there is anything that you think I can do that may improve the PCOS forum let me know. You can add any comments or suggestions here or you can PM me. Is anyone up for any kind of little game to pass some time? I hope everyone is doing OK!

I'm still here !
I check the bb from time to time . I miss everyone . I had kinda been posting updates on the December due date bb , because I honestly didn't want to hurt or offend anyone here by talking about pregnancy . I remember my 13 years of fertility issues and being on this bb on and off since 2001 . And I know how hard and upsetting it is . I myself was " moody " about pregnant women ! ( Not saying y'all are or nothing ) . But I would get so upset ! I just didn't want to make anyone feel uncomfy here . And I always , always forget my signature !!! But I am still here !!! I could never just leave my PCOS sisters for good ! I just wanted to make sure our PCOS group had a safe , comfy place to post and I didn't wanna cause anyone to turn away . I do know how rough it is .

But while I'm here I'll update lol ...
I had an OB check yesterday morning . I'm 18w now and it's been crazy ! I've lost a total of 5lbs so far . Doctor isn't concerned . Baby's heart rate was great at 150bpm . I got kicked the first time on July 21st , I confirmed yesterday with my OB that , that is what I really did feel lol Because baby kicked her during the doppler check lol . They set up my " BIG U/S " at my local hospital for 8-7-09 at 1pm . Then my next OB app. is on 8-14-09 at 9am again . I like the morning app. to get it out of the way lol . Considering I'm pg ... I think I'm doing ok lol ... I could list all my issues but all and all , I'm a happy lil plump person who takes lots of naps ! I'm just hoping for a good result on my U/S on 8-7 . I get all nervous about this stuff .

As far as the bb goes , I love this bb ! I really don't have any ideas though on what could be done to liven it up . Guess that's why I'm not in charge of that lol . I do know from my past that when I first came to FT as a lurker , I really didn't need to post lol ... The wonderful ladies here already had all the info I needed posted for me . I did however come out of lurking to make friends . And then after years of being here I sometimes didn't post because I hated my PCOS so bad I didn't wanna think about it . But I'm sure everyone has thier own reasons . Not saying everyone is just like me !!! lol . But I do hope the bb picks up . I learned later on that this bb was a life saver and a great outlet . Not just for PCOS but for day to day things . It's helped me through some hard times and gave me comfort because " I'm not alone " . Christi , I think you do an awsome job ! A very caring BC !!! So please don't think " it's you " . .... Just in case that thought crossed your mind .

So I miss y'all and check in often . I do post on the december bb . So if ya looking for me , I'm there and here lol ...

Hi!
Maybe put a "welcome", "start here" or something like that in the title also to help guide people and a "Join us there" in response to other posts. A link to last weeks post or start with an update to keep people going might help too. Just some thoughts from other boards I am on and when I was doing the weekly updates boards here (between coordinators) that is what I did to get it started. I noticed I peak at the board too but dont see as much activity either but it goes in waves I noticed too!

Lyrical - I understand completely about why you don't post here as often as you did before. I was like that too after I became preg. I am glad things are going well for you!!

I guess people do come here in spurts. In a way I don't want people to have to post here obviously. Wouldn't wish Infertility on anyone but at the same time if there are some out there reading that want to post questions but may be a little shy I just wanted them to know that there are people here that would love to help them!!

I really do appreciate your responses!!

I come and go.

This cycle is kinda a whatever happens cycle due to the fertility monitor issues. They did send me a new one, but it was too late to use it. So, not much to report. CD23 here and not sure if I Od or not. Based on temps, its still iffy.. so I dunno.

I went to see Coldplay 2 weeks ago and still on a concert high.. hehehe

I so *heart* them!
