Update [pg mention]
After three years of trying....miscarriage, PCOS, Clomid...
I got that BFP. April 29th was my LMP. My levels rose a little slowly at first, but they rose: May 27th: 24 May 29th: 38 June 1st: 108 June 8th: 1605 June 26th: 36,000 June 8th, went in for an ultrasound, saw nothing - did blood work, saw it at 1605, which was good and on track, went back two weeks to do it again... I was 8w4d when I got the scan, he saw nothing on his machine. I was devastated. He said it might have been ectopic or blighted ovum. Well, he told me to go to the hospital's outpatient radiology department to get a full scan done, and I'd get the results in a couple of days. Did the scan, was hopeful but prepared for the worst. Results came back and the baby was perfectly healthy and fine. My uterus is so severely tilted that I had to be propped up on a huge wedge. Heart rate was around 173bpm, baby was measuring a couple of days early, which I figured was okay because I ovulated on CD16, instead of CD14. Well, the doc wanted a follow-up visit, so I go in July 10th, and he tries for a heartbeat with the doppler. Again, my uterus is so severely tilted that there was no hope of hearing it this early on. So he says "Pants down, ultrasound!" He did the scan and bam! There it was All cute and bean shaped and just looking adorable in it's grainy gray glory. About 3 inches long, measuring on date (unlike the hospital one that said 2 - 3 days earlier), 173bpm.Thank you ladies for all your support and being there for me when I needed it most. This was such a difficult journey, and I'm so glad that it happened and stuck. I give you guys tons of sticky baby dust Good luck!

Congrats !!!
I'm so happy for you . This PCOS board has been so good to me through the years that when I found out I was pg , I just couldn't leave . I asked if I could hang around lol ... I do go to the due date board , but I always find myself here too . Guess I feel like only the ladies here know how PCOS works and have had babies too and are my best source of advice . We had ttc for 13 years when we got this natural surprise . Isn't it just the best to see that lil bean ??? lol . I'm almost 17 weeks now and I still hold my breath everytime they do a u/s or use doppler on me . Until I hear that lil heart pounding away ... then I laugh and cry lol . I get so emotional !!! I hate the check ups being so far and few . Only once a month for me now . And the month drags on and on . Leave alot of room for paranoid thoughts lol ... I question everything . Congrats again .... I love seeing my PCOS sisters get happy baby news ! Michele |

I'm 17 weeks, they did an early elective scan at this local place. They do it from 16 weeks on.
More accurate around 20 weeks, which I'm getting done at my doc office... But after the death of my great uncle this weekend, my family wanted to hear some good news.

Sorry about your great uncle...
![]() Your c/s is the date of my original due date with Ian.. lol.. made me smile.. I ended up having my c/s on 1/24. Wow.. you are already 17 weeks? How time has flown by in a way. Makes me sad since we would have close due dates had I not had the m/c.. but so happy that at least someone gets to have a baby!! That is always a postive!!

I'm very sorry about your miscarriage
I have been so worried this entire pregnancy that it'll just end. Last night was a huge reassurance for me...I really hope you get a BFP soon and it sticks <3
