Clomid started after day 10?

Just wondering if anyone has ever had their RE put them on Clomid later on in the cycle...say CD10.

Nope. This last cycle I had to take it a day late (CD 6-10 instead of 5-9) because the pharmacies were closed for the holiday. They let me do it but they didn't seem too pleased about it lol

No way! Clomid can make you O later than normal as it is on cd3 or 5 start date. I dont know why it would start so late.. considering you already would have started your egg making..

Hm. On CD7 I asked my doctor if we would be waiting until next cycle to start any medication and he said "we might do something this cycle, have to keep testing." I of course didn't ask what that meant. I'm in again tomorrow so I'll ask then. Weird.

Weird indeed. I wonder what he has in mind.

Ash, I took Clomid cd 3-7 this month and just had an u/s today. My follies haven't been growing so he just gave me a shot of Follistim and I have to give myself one tomorrow. That's cd15 and 16 for me. But I heard that injectibles work much faster than Clomid. I can see how it might work if he wanted to give you injectibles that late but Clomid doesn't make any sense

Hmm that might make sense...today is day 12 and my follies haven't grown (0.7) . 12+ on each ovary which I think is good? She scheduled me in for another u/s on Friday and another on Monday (who would have thought you could get used to an internal ultrasound!). So...they might give me an injection to make them grow? And ovulate too? Hmm. Sounds good!
