I need help , please . ( all kinds of things mentioned )

First of all , Hi everyone . Long time no see !!!

I have questions and I hope y'all don't mind . I've noticed some changes lately . And I'm becoming quite concerened . I can't find info anywhere to fully answer my questions . So I'm turning to FT once again and all the wonderful people here to set me straight . lol

I have PCOS with regular periods and I'd say 95% of the time I do ovulate . But I never seem to get pg . I've become lazy and quit keeping track of my cycles here lately . But I can still tell you roughly when my af is coming . I can usually time it ! I'm around 2 weeks late . I did ovulate last month , I remember because it was SO VERY painful . But can't remember if DH and I ummmm well you know . I've noticed a big weight gain lately as well . At first I thought I was just that bloated ! But now I'm just feeling fat

I been thinking I'm having af symptoms . But nothing happends . I wait and wait . I've done everything I can think of to bring it on . Nothing . No af . 2 days now breast tenderness . I don't understand that . I never have that . I get moody with af and bloat some . That's about it . I'm tired of waiting for it and I'm scared my weight gain has taken my regular af's away !

I do know some ladies do get pg naturally with PCOS . But that's not me . After ttc since 1996 .... I doubt I'm pg . I hate the evil pee stick ! Waste of my money .

So sorry if my mood seems " BLAH " , but I'm scared and confused . Please help . I'd be so greatful . BTW .... it's good to be back .

I'm sorry, I don't even understand my own body or it's craziness yet.

I have no suggestions other than ask your doctor about it.

A lot of help that was huh?

I am ttc #2.. so I can tell you about ttc#1. It took us 2 years+ and 6 months of clomid. I have PCOS, but it wasnt "active" in terms of cysts due to being on BCPS for so long due to the PCOS. I had an OB and pcp that wouldnt treat PCOS cause of the BCPS. We got preg the 2nd month of not taking clomid. I think the clomid helped to reset my cycles.

Moving on to TTC#2.. From Aug to about november, my cycles are reg or at least.. then from December to now... they are gone!! I am on CD 54 and was able to talk to my pcp and started MET on CD 30 when there was NO SIGN of O. I was testing twice a day and nadda.

I would suggest talking to a Dr... if you trust your PCP or OB. I knew my OB would tell me my weight is an issue, which I know, but I need to at least get help!

Maybe you need to get jump started and get going again. I dont know what meds to tell you to take, but maybe your Dr will come in and help!!

Be proactive with your medical care!!! Keep us posted!!

Thanks for the replies . Still no AF . I don't understand because I have ALWAYS been regular with my cycles since I was 12 or so . I never have a missed AF unless something is up . I'm just hoping it's not bad . My pcp had given me met . 1500mg daily . I havent started taking it again yet . Was kinda gearing up in my mind to give it another whirl , ya know . Anyways thanks again .....

Have you taken a test just to rule out pregnancy? That would be the first thing I'd do. That or go to the Dr. and have them test you there. I do know from my own experiences that weight gain can affect your cycles. I have recently lost a little over 20lbs and my cycles are closer to normal now that they have ever been. Either way, keep us updated. Glad to have back!!

Good luck

This may be a longshot, but I had a similar experience. . .

I was diagnosed with PCOS, but my periods had always been regular, until one month I started to feel incredibly/painfully bloated and my period didn't come. I gained nearly 10 lbs in 2 months and felt painfully huge with no period in sight. I had an ultrasound, and it turned out I had a blood filled cyst on my ovary that had grown to be 7 inches. Apparantly the cyst itself released so much excess testosterone that it stopped my menstrual cycle. I was put on BC to shrink the cyst, and after several months it worked, and everything returned back to normal.

Weather you have a cyst, a possible pregnancy, or just the frustrating symptons of PCOS, I would see a doctor for possible answers. (Although we all know that with PCOS, answers are hard to come by) Good luck.
