Smile pcos/weight loss

I am new to the board. Hello All!! I haven't had any treatments since last year. Kind of on a really long break.(and not sure if i want to continue) When i was on Metformin and Clomid it was very hard to lose weight. Now that i am not on any medication i have gained weight. And not very happy about it either. I'm going to be buying a treadmill-so at least i can work out at home. Having PCOS really stinks. I don't know to many people to talk about it-so that's why i am here.
I would like to know if anyone is in the same situation? and about your PCOS issues. Thanks!!

HI! I think many of us are struggling with the weight issues. Mine are getting worse as we seek IF treatments, I have gained about 15 lbs in the three months I have been on clomid. THat is with a 30 min work out and a 20 minute walk a day. Just today I asked the RE why I am always hungry, but he wasn't much help.

I find myself in a vicious cycle, " I can do this! I will feel better, maybe O on my own" then I get hungry or bloated and I eat. ( I am a major stress/emotional eater. Great with Pcos huh?) I also have the fatigue that goes with PCOS, which makes it so hard to do anything...

I keep telling myself to get on the scale, and set a goal, one week at at time. I have yet to do it! In fact, I always seem to eat more.

okay, that probably wasn't much help for you, but I feel better now

Like Smiles said, I think most of us here have the same problem! I have a very hard time losing weight or even maintaining my current weight and unlike some, I don't like to snack...just not in my genes I guess?!?! Anyway, it's even more frustrating when you aren't eating a ton and still not losing. I do work out, about an hour-2 every other day and it's not helping either. It's very frustrating but I'm running out of steam telling doctors and not getting anywhere. What is a person supposed to do?!?!?!
