ovarian drilling complete!

So, I went and had the ovarian drilling done last week. My ob found a big cyst on my left ovary, which he zapped with the laser. In addition, small levels of endometriosis near right ovary (Level 1? Told nothing to be concerned about). Finally, my tubes were flushed out, as they were "gunky" (my dh's technical term). Feeling great, but have really broken out in acne like I haven't in a long time. I'm wondering if it's the hormones that were released???? Taking Clomid and metformin, CD 6, so just wishing time would pass faster to get closer to the big o. (if it happens this month!)

What effect does the gunky tubes play, anyone know? I haven't had my follow up appointment yet, and my dh didn't ask after the surgery...

Any extra luck would be appreciated!

I had the ovarian drilling done is April of 2000. The acne is a good sign. Those hormones are clicking. I not only o'd the month after I had the drilling but got pg (ended up being a chemical pg but for someone who had done 8yrs of TX with never a pg I was thrilled)
I have had regular 28day cycles since (1-2 periods a year before).
I had a sucessful pg and gave birth to my ds in Jan. of 2002. (no meds)
Ovarian Drilling was the best thing I ever did.
As far as the gunky tubes goes I am not sure. I had what basicly sums up to a cleaning out of my uterus and tubes at the time of my drilling.

I hope that before long you will have sucess!!

Thanks maryme. I have been getting frustrated because as far as I can tell I did NOT o this month (I'm using an electronic monitor). As I'm sure you know, they say the first month after the proccedure is your best chance. I was kind of feeling like my best chance flew out the window. However, hearing your story helps me keep the faith. Thanks!
