Thinning Hair Question

Hi All
I know we have talked about this before but....I was reading that the Metformin can cause vitamin B deficiencies...(Maybe it was Eaglet? ....I've been at a number of sites today haha! ) I read that the lack of vitamin Bs can also cause the thinning hair...I bought B complex and am going to see if that helps but my question is this....Does anyone know any other supplements that I can take to get the hair to grow back? My hair is very thin on the top (althugh DH said I'm the only one who would notice). Has anyone had success with Rogaine? I tried it once but I dont think I gave it enough time to work...and if you did try it...how long before you noticed the hair growing back?

whoa! Sorry so long!

I actually have not been to an RE yet...I am still being treated by my regular gyn...she and my GP seem to have alot of experience treating PCOS so I am going to try and stick with them for now. My doctor actually said that if I dont get pg with just the metformin or if we try clomid for a few months and nothing, she is going to send me to and RE. I also will want to go if I end up having another m/c if I get pg again (will be # 3 ). I just heard on the radio the other day about a big RE office in the area having an open house and I didnt have a pen to write down the name! They were actually going to have a drawing to win round of IVF...how cool is that...
