11-16-2007, 10:12 AM #4No kidding!! THis has been the sore spot in my life - see my post about the dances. She is 10 going on 11, in 5th grade. Our middle school is 5 thru 8. A big age range, IMHO.

very cool. lara made the honor roll she had 7As and 1B the B was in her advanced english class.
this semester not so good so far. due to failing 2 county required tests and not being able to retake them or study for them and them counting toward her grade she is teetering between a B and C this semester in math and advanced english. all the rest of her grades are As.
i got her the webkinz she wanted and hung her honor roll certificate on the fridge because she was so proud and i was really proud of her. i have never seen a kid with so much homework in all my life and even on the weekends they pile it on. i have a funny feeling she will have tons to do over winter break......poor thing will have to schlep that heavy backpack on the plane when we go to visit grandma and grandpa
