I am going back to work!!!

Oh boy, after almost 8 years of being a SAHM with my only, I got a part time job. Yes, I know it is only 20 hours, however, I am sort of freaking out!!!! I asked for alot of $$$$ and he said yes and I asked for August off and he said yes AND I asked for TONS of flexibility and he said YES. So, I really couldn't pass it up. It is only about 1 mile from my home and DS school.

Also, DS went home with a child from his class yesterday for the FIRST time. Another bittersweet moment for me. Time goes on whether we want to or not. On to the next chapter of our life!

I know you ladies will understand!

Wow, what big steps! I know it goes so quickly... Good luck -- it sounds like a great job opportunity, and it sounds as if your son is doing just fine.

Our little miracle:
http://chanceian.blogspot.com/

Each day as I watch you struggle I am reminded to find joy in the little things, to stop and smell the flowers, and that some things are more important than material things. Your smile melts my heart, and takes the chronic pain away, if only for a fleeting moment. Thank you for the joy that you bring, my son.
