Hello to all,
You are all experienced moms of multiple and I would like to get some suggestions about strollers, carriers, bouncers, swings....Thank you so much in advance.
What is the best stroller for twins? What about the snap and go stoller? What do you think about the baby carrier made for twins? Is it very heavy? Do I need to get one or two bouncers? Breast feeding pumps: manuel, electric, double? Any advises will be welcome
Thank you again
Katia

You definitely need 2 bouncers. I have heard that the snap and go is really great. I have a peg perego duette. I don't think I would recommend it. Its really long and hard to steer. It is nice that when the children are older you can face them towards each other in the seats if you like. They have a newer model, it might be better. It is pricey at around $650. I also have a BOB Revolution Duallie and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. It was worth every penny. I can steer it with one hand which is really important and rare in the world of double strollers.
I have two swings and I used both. For a few months it was the only way I could get them both to sleep.
I never had a double carrier. I just used a regular bjorn for one and carried the other.
I have the Medela Pump in Style double breast pump. I rented a hospital grade pump for the first month. It does a better job at simulating the suck of a baby and I used it to help me establish my supply, but it isn't necessary. It was much more comfortable than the Medela, but I got used to the Medela after a while.
Congratulations on your twins!!

my favs and recommendations (i have twin girls):
double snap n go stroller
one bouncy seat
2 swings (love the aquarium cradle swing)
MUST have 2 boppy's for feeding both at same time
lots of flat-fold diapers for burp rags
loads of bibs
get some preemie clothes before they're born in case they're small
lots of receiving blankets (you will find many uses for these)
graco pack n play with twins bassinet
pampers swaddlers are my favorite and they come in preemie size
my fav thing i did in nursery is install a dimmer switch on the light...it's a lifesaver!!
head supports, you will need them for swings and bouncy seats if they are born small. we still use them and theyre 12 lbs now!
another absolute lifesaver is SwaddleMe blankets by Kiddopotamus (avail at BRU). They are wonderful for nighttime swaddling, they stay put. Small size fits a pretty small baby.
I hope this helps! Best wishes and prepare for the hardest time in your life! But worth it.Proud Mommy to:

DaiseyMae mentioned everything I would say as well.
I have two bouncers--because we have reflux--that is what they sleep in at first. The swaddlers are a must--wish I would have had them from the beginning. We have the double snap and go, and I think I would have gotten the graco double instead--then I would have a front and back stroller even after they grew out of car seats. But, I love my side by side Aria by peg perrego--it is sooo light. I just got 2 papasan swings just a couple of months ago--wish I would have had both from the beginning as well. I would not waist money on bath tubs--I did, in fact I got two so dh could bathe one at the same time. My friend got me a mesch chair that sits at an angle in the big tub--it is sooo much faster--didn't use until they were about 3 months old, so don't know how it would work for a newborn. Lots of burp cloths, lots of diaper bags--bigger and smaller--I have color coded ones for Church that are packed w/ their individual stuff, so dh and I just grab whichever one matches whichever child we have. I have two play gyms that they lay under--their favorite is the baby einstein. We also have several of those videos that they are beginning to really enjoy. Somebody on here suggested lots of white onesies and socks, so that you can use them for both. I found that really helpful espec at the beginning. Good luck--it is soo hard, but soo rewarding too!(especially when they can start to respond to you) Plan on lots of help if you can at the beginning--w/ whatever people are willing to do for you!

Definately 2 bouncers, this is great if you need to bottle feed both at once. We got different kinds so they could alternate. We on ly have one swing and one baby carrier, but could use another baby carrier for DH to use. We have the Graco double travel system strolller from Target, LOVE IT! It is a bit cheaply made, but really gets us around well. Also make sure to inquire to your Ped. about formula samples (even if your breastfeeding, you may need to supplement) Our Ped. is great about that, also we got enrolled in multiples program thru the formula companies and they gave us formula also. Good luck with your twins, mine are only 10 weeks old and already have doubled their weight almost, they do grow fast!!!!

Definitely get two vibrating bouncy seats (four if you have two floors to your house).
Two swings would be nice, too. We had one, but wished we'd had two.
We liked Baby Bjorn carriers. DH and I each had one. Plus, sometimes I'd take the twins out by myself, with one in a carrier and one in a single stroller.
We had a side-by-side Maclaren Opus Duo stroller that was great. The seats reclined fully, so we were able to use it to take the babies out of the hospital, and they were large enough so that my kids still fit in them when they were 4.
Avent used to make a microwave steam sterilizer that was great for nipples, pacifiers, etc.
I'd skip exersaucers and Boppy pillows. We had Boppies that were never used.
Oh, and get lots of those Carter's stretch terrycloth sleepers. My babies practically lived in those at home once they hit regular sizes.

My babies slept in the bouncy seats, too. DD had reflux, and we tried borrowing a pricey "reflux wedge," but she ended up preferring the bouncy seat.

I like my Graco DuoGlider stroller. It fits both of the infant carriers and so it will last you a long time.
I had two bouncers, a regular swing and a travel swing, one crib to start (they co-slept with each other until about 7mths), two boppys, two high chairs.Tami
