Sorry! I know it is still only Tuesday there, but it's Wednesday here and I'm getting a head start on the whines.
My whine this week is my kids' stupid school schedule.
It's the end of the quarter, the first quarter, and Veteran's Day all at once.
School was out last Friday, for teacher work day to get grades ready for the end of the quarter.
School was out a half-day yesterday and all day today because of Veteran's Day.
And school will be out Thursday and Friday because they won't release first quarter report cards without parent/teacher conferences and they let out the whole day for those.
EXCEPT: The elementary school is out Thursday and Friday. Middle school is only out Friday.
So Taylor's schedule this week...school Monday, half-day Tuesday, out Wednesday, school Thursday, and out Friday.
Sheesh! If they'd just block the days together instead of this every-other nonsense we could have gone on vacation or made some plans or something. But as it is, we're just stuck here all week long while I try to find things to entertain them the days they are here or force them to move the days they're supposed to go to school.
It's just lame if you ask me. Grrrr....

Tess. That would totally mess me up. I'm so not organized anyway but UGH!
My whine... spaghetti throw up. on the mattress, sheets, floor, in the toy box under the bed and the toys and the rug and... ick. Spaghetti throw up. Poor Laney boy.
and school. ack. I've got to pass the entrance exam and I'm a nervous wreck. Still have to pass the Math portion of the Praxis and right now, I'm just not feeling it. But there are SO many ways my family would benefit if I had a teaching position right now financially. I know money isn't everything, it doesn't make the world go round and we aren't lacking food or shelter or basics but we can't upkeep anything either. We need to gut our kitchen. Literally gut it. It would be workable if it was just the layout that's the problem but it's not. The floor in the bathroom, by the bathtub, it's not going to last much longer and ugh. Our family would also benefit by the schedule... and I would benefit mentally, emotionally by it too. I desire to be a teacher but right now... the exams are just looking like HUGE obstacles in my way to my goal and I feel like a puny little ant trying to move those boulders.Crystal
