About LinkBacksI know I don't post here very often any more so I hope you don't mind indulging me today while I post some photos of Catie's first day of school! Actually it was Catie's first two hours of school. Her school has about 90 kids enrolled in kindergarten this year (!!!), so they're starting them gradually over two days and at staggered times. Catie started yesterday after lunch so it was a looooooong morning waiting around at home. As soon as lunch was over she raced into her room to get dressed. (I hope she's that keen every day of school!!) She was so excited! And walked into her classroom without a backward glance at me.
When DH and I picked her up two hours later she reported that she had a great day and that big school is so much fun! We took her out for a milkshake before DH headed back to work.

hey, wow, that's so great your daughter loved school! I can't see the pictures, because I'm not a member. darn! That's so exciting when they first start school (and it's good for mom also!)

Oh wow. It's that time already? It's hard to believe that it's time for her to be in school already! Time sure does fly! she has gotten so big, she's got the most beautiful eyes. Starting school is such a bittersweet time, I'm glad she had a good first "day"!

is that a uniform or is that her dress she picked out? eitehr way she looks spectaular! i am so glad she had a wonderful first day!

What a cutie!!!! It is such a special day
I am glad it went well. DS did the staggered attendance too, and we really liked how that was set up, really made it easier on all involved.

Oh Kim it's been AGES since we've seen a picture of Catie. What a treat. She is a beauty for sure. Glad she had such a wonderful first day of school. Oh my gosh, she's a big kid now!!!
