Butterfly Birthday: Update 08/16/06

First of all...

THANK YOU all so much for the support the other day. I don't know why, but I always feel so bad posting anything for me here. I'm supposed to be here for you...not ask for anything for me. But you ladies have reminded me, so wonderfully, that you are here and that I can ask. Thank you for all the understanding, and sweet words, and cyberhugs. They came at a time when I truly needed them.

And then...
There's no pics today because I broke my digital camera. I was holding it by the strap, lost my grip and it slipped the remaining twelve inches to the floor. For some reason that little bitty drop just messed it all up. And now it's kaput.

But...honestly, the 'pillars aren't doing anything. I still have seven chrysalides. Five are up top, two are down on the bottom. I think one of the ones on the bottom isn't doing so well, but it's too early to count him out just yet.

They are really increasing their movements. Shouldn't be too much longer before we have butterflies.

I still haven't made her flower arrangement. I keep putting it off, but I'll get to it soon.
I did work on a new avatar (well...avatars) but I'm having trouble resizing them filesize wise to use here. Any photo editing gurus out there can make a file compress smaller?

And that's it for now. Sorry about no pics...hoping to go camera shopping soon.

oh man, I'm sorry you broke your camera. I lost mine and I was so stinkin' mad at myself!

I sure hope those last 7 pillars hang on.
Thank you for sharing the pictures with us, I like to look at all the updates and the progress that they are making.

I know if Jillian were here you'd be planning the best pink, frilly princess birthday party she could ever have. I'm sorry that instead you have to worry about these catpillars growing and flower arrangements.

Oh Tess, you know I feel the same way about the Loss bb. I feel so bad if/when I ask for anything. But you know, we need support too. I'm glad you know you can ask for it. (((HUGS)))

So sorry you broke your camera. I know I'd be pretty upset if I broke mine. Can't help you with the avatar but there are a few "photo editing gurus" here who I'm sure would be happy to help!

Sorry I haven't been around to support you. I have been thinking about your butterfly release and wondered how everything was going. It sounds like you have a few good ones left. They must be the prettiest ones of the bunch!

I keep trying to get on here to let you know that I had a dream about you two weeks ago. It was your family, your dh, you, and your three boys. My dh and I were there too. It was like we were on a trip or something. We were all going to a reunion together, but before we were to leave for the party, you and I kept looking for our little girls and we were getting frantic that we couldn't find them. We were SO upset and trying to comfort each other. I guess it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out!

You really must have been on my mind because I can't remember hardly any dreams I've had lately.

I'm so sorry about your camera. I would be absolutely lost without mine - sometimes I think it's actually attached to me. LOL

I hope that you have a camera for your butterfly release and I wish I was closer. I would certainly share in Jillian's day with you.

P.S. I just saw Dillon's birthday party pics! I can't believe he is the little boy that I saw at Chris' going away party. He is a doll. Oh, and Kasen had her first birthday party on Saturday too!
