How is everyone?

So, what is up with everyone? I've just been slowly recovering from my surgery. I am sooo looking forward to some warm weather!!!!! I am so tired of this rain, damp cool weather. Although today was 65 and sunny....the first! The rest of the week will be cold with rain and snow. YUCK!!!

We're doing fine here in usually sunny So CA (not so much today!).
I am counting the days until spring break; we are out the week after Easter.

DD#1, 15 y.o, is in final rehearsals for the school musical this weekend. She plays the violin in the jazz band accompanying the actors. She is excited, but ready to be done since the late rehearsals every day have been really tiring.

DD#2, 10 y.o, is finishing up 5th grade and is definitely a tween. A fun kid sometimes and showing attitude at others. She didn't get into any of the middle schools we wanted, so now we have to figure out what to do. I'm hoping to pull some strings as a district employee, but that obviously didn't help in the initial selection.

Life has been revolving around school, Girl Scout cookie sales, and work. We're all ready for a break!
