I am sorry I haven't been around much. I have been keeping up but haven't had a lot of time to post.
The past few weeks have been pretty stressful. I am hoping things are calming down a bit. Rena went in to be re-immunized. That was not fun for a four year old. I had to fight back the tears. We had to go to the Health Dept. because my Ins. would not cover it b/c she has had them already. Of course they do them one by one. She is still sore. Why she isn't holding them we don't know. They will do titers in 6-8 weeks to check her system again to see if they show up. This all came about when they were checking everything to see why she has been struggling with her asthma. They saw that she had no trace of the Pneumocaucal vaccine and a couple others. They said that could be a factor.
Keep your fingers crossed and pray for an uneventful 6-8 weeks!!! We could use a break!! On an up-note, she got a new nebulizer and I can tell a difference. It takes her half the time and she is much happier. It does tick me off that the past 9 months she has been sitting on that thing and not getting all the meds she needs. I never knew they needed to be replaced every two years. Also, after 3 years of shelling out 300.00-500.00 for meds (each month), my Dr. now tells me she may quailify for help . Why they didn't tell me this 3 years ago I don't know.
Sorry, this turned into a whine and woe as me post. I am putting on a positive face from now on!!

Oh man. I can't even imagine how stressful that must be. I have never even heard of vaccines not staying with someone. It is hard enough to immunize them as babies, but to do it again as 4 yr olds would be awful.
There is NO need to apologize. Thanks for updating us and I really hope that things will get smoother from here on out. Take care..Jamie DMom of 3 Wonderful Little Girls!!

(((BIG HUGS))) to you and sweet Miss Rena. I hope that everything starts to smooth out for your little family soon. You need and deserve a break, and maybe with the new nebulizer, you're finally on the road to that smoother path. Hope that Rena is doing okay after all those shots AGAIN. Bless her brave, sweet heart and her little arm/leg that kept getting poked! Please keep us updated. NO APOLOGY -- we're here for you, hon! You're in my prayers.
