    Omg!

I was on line earlier this evening when H, Dd's bm, popped up w/an instant message. (this is usually how we communicate between visits). When I asked her how she was doing, she said "Getting fatter every day" Huh? I asked what that meant. She said "think about it...." Then I asked, "are you?" She said..."yup!"

Then...she asked me if we wanted to be the parents of this baby!! She wanted for this baby & our Dd to be together. For us, that is a no-brainer! She said she had already talked to her SW about it a while ago. And since we just said yes, she will call her tomorrow.

Dh & I just got back yesterday from a cruise (leaving Dd was not easy - but it was paid for & for my work...). I had been telling Dh before the cruise that when we got back, I was going to call our agency to re-apply. Well, I'll definitely be contacting our SW this week. (may give H 1 day to talk to her's first - and then I'm sure her's will call ours....)

We are in complete shock. We thought for sure that her experience w/Dd's bf & childbirth would be sure means of bc for her. Guess we were wrong.

I just hope that her parents aren't having too hard a time of this (I asked her about it in our IM's - she avoided the subject) But since she's decided to make another adoption plan and...with us...I know her parents really, really like us.

Oh, yeah, she's due on July 8th! Dd's bday is July 30th! So, they will be almost 2 years apart. (we do not know the gender of this one - nor does it matter to us...)

Don't know much about this one's bf except that he has moved back to Mexico. (these two may look completely different since Dd is soooooo fair complected!)

Funny, but when we saw her 1 month ago, we both thought she looked pg, but didn't want to say anything...because if she wasn't, that would have made her feel awful!

I thought I was queezy before I got on-line this evening (from post cruise motion sickness) - I'm really queezy now!

There really truly was a reason why we passed on a situation that was presented to us in Sept. (baby boy was born yesterday & will be in our friends' home on Friday...if all goes well...keep your fingers crossed for them too).

My head is spinning!! I'll definitely keep you posted!

Somehow destiny comes into play. These children end up with you and you end up with them. It's something quite magical.
