Everyone doing okay who got hit with snow?

We got nearly a foot of snow -- then had blowing and drifting snow, too -- and the temps got to -10 last night, but thankfully, the sun was out today and the temps were much milder.

I was blessed to have a good Samaratain help me shovel the last 1/4 part of our driveway -- the heaviest and deepest part, thanks to the snowplows. They seemed to sabatoge my efforts every few hours when they came passing through! UGH!!! Yesterday and today, I felt so drained from the exhaustion of shoving out the car, the driveway, and the sidewalks four times in 1-1/2 days. Getting too old for this kind of exercise! The warmer states are looking mighty tempting to relocate about now!

Everyone who got hit with snow, please check in and let us know how you're doing. (((HUGS))) from our snowy corner of the world to each of you! I sympathize with your snow removal efforts!

We were watching the news about the snow....we missed it again. we got some freezing rain/sleet and high winds...cold, but not the snow. Hope everyone is doing ok digging out!!! Maybe making a snowperson or two... (this is the best I can do to make snowmen right now!)

No snow here, *sigh* I am wondering if my girls will ever get to see real snow and play in it.

We got hit with about 10 in or so. Luckily, I have the worlds greatest husband who shoveled it all because he wanted me to stay in a cuddle with the girls!!! What a sweetheart!! -Jamie

once again the forecasters were WRONG. they told us to brace for close to a foot here in maryland north/west of washington dc. we only got 4 inches.

lara has no school today but not because of the snow......because it is a teacher professional day. aaron has school today.....he was not happy about it.

the kids have been arguing with me all weekend that i am a mean mommy and won't let them play outside in it.

geez.......we have high wind warnings........and it is -5 windchill outside.

stay safe everyone

We got around 9" or so. Our local paper said we've had 45"+ so far this season, well above the average. The first snowfall I always think is cute, but I'm over it.

well we got maybe 5-6 inches here and in the midst of the storm had to drive house guests to the airport. That was a terrifying drive cuz people around here drive like LUNATICS when it snows...well who am I kidding, they drive like lunatics all the time.. Anyway, made it home safely. This morning I finally went to Dr and have acute sinusitis and bronchitis. I am exhausted and want to crawl in a hole and sleep until Spring...

I'm not sure whether to be envious or happy.....our high today was in the 40's, so you can guess that we haven't had any snow! LOL We were only teased with snow flurries on Christmas Eve and all they did was melt when they hit the ground.

I'm like Cyndi --- I wonder if Hunter will ever see snow up close & personal.

Stay warm!!!! And if you need some warmer weather, head South --- we'll put you up!
