That overshadows everything else. Yes I am thankful to be going on vacation tomorrow too.

Thankful a meeting at work this am went OK, not too badly, and at least it is over now.
Thankful for air conditioning.

Thankful for getting some overdue tasks done at work. Thankful that I have working a/c. Thankful that my kids cleaned up their own mess that gave me a heart attack when I walked in the door (my family room was transformed into a spa - make up, waiting room, nail polish, sheets covering chairs....)

Thankful that 13 y/o dd had a fun trip to Washington DC/NYC with her school and dh and I had a fun week without her here.
Thankful that after being home, aforementioned dd has been calm and pleasant for a week so that we an actually enjoy her company.
Thankful that I'm on summer vacation from a good but challenging year of teaching.
