Since we live in such different parts of the country (and beyond!), I thought I'd post some pics of house styles that were mentioned in the other thread to see if we're all picturing the same thing when a house type is mentioned. Feel free to add those I may have missed! BTW, I'm not sure if the Rambler house is even right - we don't use that term around here so I'm not sure what a real rambler is supposed to look like

I agree that the raised ranch looks very similar if not the same as split level. Here, raised-ranches have a strange over-hang that makes them appear like a stacked pair of trailer homes. I declare that I don't like either.
