Vini replied "I am eating a cactus sandwich with a LOT of hot habanero sauce. You should have one too!"

I got my tonsils out when I was 21, they actually kept you in the hospital way back then. I remember them bringing me toast, oatmeal or some glop like that, coffee, and grape juice the 1st meal after. The intern who came in my room to see the other person they commented that I wouldn't get well if I didn't eat, dumb azz never even looked at my chart, yeah most of that would have gone down real well. Lunch was no better I ended up going to the cafeteria and buying jello. The staff gave me some bs about new patients getting the "standard" meal until they could fill out the food request. Hello, they knew why I was going to be there.
When I was being released they said something about if I get a fever or start barfing I should go to the ER at the Children's hosptial, my Mom miss heard them and asked why I would start barking.peako

Hope Pablo has a speedy recovery!!! I would gladly stay away from cactus and hot sauce sandwiches-lol! EWWWWW! But then again I'm sure some people think raw oysters and ketchup and horseradish is disgusting!
