Suz,
Please tell Sophia Happy Birthday from me. She won't remember me, but I will always remember when she was born, and when I saw her in person for the first time. I cannot believe she is ten years old! I also love that she is her own person and that she does not necessarily feel she must have a terribly "girly" party, and that she can invite some boys who are her friends. Have a really fun time.....the game bus is huge here in our area, even with the high schoolers. It is probably the same company.

Happy Birthday to Miss Sophia! I love the game bus idea!
I'm thankful that I was able to arrange for another therapist to cover my patients so I can have the day off to take ds to see Train at the Rodeo tonight

Margaret Anne, so good to hear from you! I too remember that day in Legoland and meeting S and G, they must be teens by now! Time sure flies. For the last 3 years I had taken Sophia and her best buds Noah, Michael and Gwen to Legoland. Both boys lost their dads at an early age so they bonded, and Gwen is Sophia's sparring partener in Karate and classmate. All three became good friends from going to Legoland and other places. Last time we all went it was pretty funny. You know those big rooms they have filled with legos and kids can sit there and assemble whatever? Well all four kids AND dh sat in the robot/warrior themed room and built androids to their heart's content. I have pictures of four happy little kids and one big adult and about a dozen fierce looking creatures that they created. They would still enjoy that, but they are getting a bit big for the rides. How quickly they seem to grow up!

Yes, with R's Monkey -- TGIF!!!
Max sounds like he is doing amazingly well! I always liked that kid!
Happy birthday sweet Sophia!!! 10 years old... wow... I have a little picture of Leah Sophia, Bridget and Briana in the jacuzzi... it's framed in pink and sits on my nightstand, I look at it every morning... Those little girls on my nightstand are NOT 10 years old!!! Surfing sounds fun... I so badly want to put Leah is swimming this year... it is just so expensive though and the schedules do not accomodate working Mom's so much... I have to figure this out! Game buses are big fun... the kids are rewarded with these at school... they also get limo excursions to lunch and DJ dance parties.
Hip surgery, really Suz???
It's supposed to storm here all weekend.. they are saying the biggest we will have all year... I am looking forward to staying in, watching TV, drinking good coffee... sleeping... lofty goals!

well, another midwesterner here, and only girls, so I have not heard of a game bus either! It sounds great though. Great idea for party with both boys and girls. Suz--glad to hear about your dh and the math tutoring thing--sounds right up his alley.
