Bit of a brag on my ds

Ds told me last night that out of over 1800 students he was one of 450 choosen to attend a special program his school is doing. It is designed to bring the school together and you had to be recommended as a good leader/candiate to be selected.

Unfortunately he declined because the day he was supposed to attend was a "B" day which would mean missing his 90 min classes for, Geometry, Chemistry and Spanish which he feels he just can't afford to miss.

I'm also proud of him for not just saying "yeah, I get to miss class" and doing the program but that he realised his accademics are more important.

My baby is growing up, and becoming responsible.

It sounds like quite an honor for him to be selected. That's really neat!

He sounds very mature to have realized he needed to decline.

Wow you must be so proud ..I dont think I would have been 1/2 as responsible at that age..hell I'm still not..lol
