I don't know if anyone remembers me posting about some people who keep emailing me, I don't know them, I've emailed them and asked to be deleted from their email list. I still get emails from them, todays was about game night at church tomorrow so what did I do? I sent an email saying sounds like fun where is the church? Maybe this will get the point to them

Someone doesn't know how to edit their addresss book. Maybe you can attatch direction on how to do this with your next reply.
at least it is church related stuff and not a swingers group!...unless it is in code......

Offer to bring all the refreshments too! When you don't show up with the food, maybe they'll be PO'd and take you off the list. Of course, if it's a church group, they may just forgive you.

I can think of many ways to have them permanently remove you from their list but it may sully your reputation in the event that you actually meet one of them in person.

 The next time it happens, write a really folksy, detailed e-mail telling *all* about your great great grand aunt's cousin's nephew's sister's favorite recipe for somethingorother that has been passed down through the family for generations. Offer to bring a platter of it to the next church gathering. I wonder if that would get a response? (I'm assuming that these are random people who are probably halfway across the country, so if you did get a response, you'd have to say, "Oh, sorry, I'm 1500 miles away from Tennessee/Colorado/Montana/wherever! Maybe you should take me off your e-mail list.")
