Wow! My cousin is pg at 44

But that's not all. Married for the first time last June. I went to her wedding back East. She just completed her first (and now only)IVF, with her and her DH's gametes. RE transferred two blasts and one morula. All three took;the morula divided into identical twins. So technically, she is pg at 44 with quadruplets. Her RE was understandably blown away. It is beginning to look as is the identical twins might not make it as they are behind, but who knows at this point. Needless to say, she is very tired, nauseous and it's a challenge as she is a career woman. I could not be more (cautiously) happy for her.
One of the things I told her before she was even married, that if she was able to conceive, not to worry too much. I had my first and only daughter three months short of 45. My now 15 yo daughter was a junior bridesmaid in her wedding.
Just thought I would share here as I don't want to out her on other social media. Positive thoughts for her to carry this pregnancy well would be appreciated.

I hope all you here are doing well.

    Congratulations to her!!

My history is too long to include everything here so I will begin with my most recent and successful journey:
DE journey-7 eggs, 6 survived thaw, 5 fertilized, 4 divided, 3 made it to blast and were perfect and ready for transfer.
    Transferred 1 perfect embryo.

She is now down to two healthy fraternal twins. Nausea is way down with anti nausea meds. I am so happy for her!
