I am having a good weekend of bmsing. Let's hope this works.

How is everyone else doing? Are you ready for spring? I read an article in a medical journal that said IVFs done in the spring have a higher bfp rate. So I am thinking even if you are not doing IVF maybe this is a good sign and we will have a lot of bfp on the board.

Hello Ladies, Just reading all the threads and following you all along.

AFM: I got bad news on Wednesday from my sister. She also had an ectopic pregnancy and had it removed on Wednesday. All the emotions I had were overwhelming and upsetting. I felt really bad and sad for her because we both want to have a baby. The Dr. was able to save her ovary which is good and she is doing good. I spent sometime with her after the surgery on Thursday. Our day will come soon. Me and my husband are looking at adoption and as for us getting pregnant on our own we are still going to keep trying but IUI we'll wait because I am fully ready to go back on the rollercoaster.

Take care and all my best.

BellaK – I will be thinking very positive thoughts for your genetic test results.
Dawn – glad to hear you had a good weekend of bmsing
Lisvet – so sorry to hear about your sister’s loss. I think you are smart to take some time and get back on the rollercoaster when you are ready for the ride. Hopefully this site makes the journey a bit more bearable for you like it does for me.

AFM – I went in for the HSG today. I forgot to take the pain medication so I was a bit nervous, but it was not bad at all. Just a bit of cramping. The whole thing was over in about 10 mins and I went back to work right after. The Doctor said everything looked great. I have an appointment with my RE the day after tomorrow (3/23) to have another u/s and hopefully she will decide the fibroid is not an issue, but if she does I really want to get it/them removed so I can get on with this!

Cam - glad to hear the HSG went well. Hopefully your RE will give you the green light and you will be pg very soon.

How is everyone else doing? Can you believe we are at the end of March already? This year is flying by too fast.

So after a weekend of bmsing fun, I am sitting here very very crampy. I am thinking I have an UTI. Not sure. Drinking cranberry juice and hoping I feel better tomorrow.

Dawn - hope you are feeling better after all the cranberry juice!

AFM - I saw my RE today and she did another u/s. The fibroid still looks like it may be in a questionable location (even though the Dr who read the HSG did not think it was a problem), but it is very small (9mmx9mm) and my RE does not want to do a saline u/s so soon after the HSG for fear of infection. I had one 17+ mm follicle, so she suggested that I do the hCG trigger tonight and go in for IUI on Friday. If I become pregnant, RE will monitor and hope implementation does not happen in the area of the follicle. I am very excited, and hoping we made the right decision.

    How is everyone doing??
I am still crampy and bloated. It feels like my ovaries are jammed backed for some reason. I am not doing any meds this cycle so I am very concerned. The cranberry juice is helping but this is so weird. Dh is bummed as he was liking the bmsing all the time. Any suggestions?

Hi Everyone --- Hope things are going well & lots of new BFPs around here??? I am always thinking of all of you & you are always in my prayers as well...

(This is just a copy/paste so I don't need to re-type it all LOL)

So --- I want to share something with all of my Fertile Thoughts family... David & I wanted to do something that would help to encourage random acts of kindness - something that anyone could do... Something fun and inexpensive...

So we created Pass It On Cards... So far Everyone Loves it & that makes us so happy... We have a few teachers who are going to be implementing it for their students as a project... And we have just begun. SOOOOO EXCITING!!!!!

So, anyway I am trying to get the word out & get the cards in circluation so that people can start having fun & spreading the kindness... I would love to send any of you a 3 pack of our cards --- no catch - I am not asking you to buy anything, just simply try them out. Get them circulating around - I will even pay the shipping if you are willing to help me get things moving... I just figure the best way to get them out all over the place is to ask all of you ---

So what are they??? I'm sure you're asking... Let me enlighten you... They are fun plastic message cards that are about the same size & thickness as a credit card. On the front they have a pretty design & a message (examples - Thank you... Pass It On / You Made My Day... Pass It On / Hugs & Kisses... Pass It on) - On the back side there is a website & each card has it's own tracking #. So once you get them, you log on to the website & register / add the cards... Just a few simple steps & the cards are ready to be passed on... So you can pass them to anyone - friends, family, people in the service industry, kids teacher, postman or whoever you wish... It's really fun to leave it for someone who doesn't know you & sit back & watch the HUGE smile that comes over their face... I just LOVE doing that! Anyway, you get the picture...

So after you pass the card/s on you will actually be able to watch as the card travels from person to person & place to place... Cultivating it's own unique story as it moves... Each time someone new gets the card & registers it, you will get a message letting you know what was said, where the card is, the first name of who has the card etc. And each person who ever gets that same card will also be able to track it too... Making it a ton of fun for everyone... All the while spreading appreciation, love & kindness to each person who receives it...

We are already getting some good action --- & we just launched this like a week ago... We are so excited to see where the cards are going...

We love that it's such an easy way to pay it forward & encourage Random Acts of Kindness...

So anyway --- Like I said, if this sounds like something you would like to do or try, please just shoot me a message with your name & address & I'll get them in the mail to you as soon as possible... Please only people who live in English Speaking Countries because they don't do any good if people can't understand what they say... But anyone else - just ask ok???

    I'd love any thoughts too...
I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend & thanks in advance for helping me get this fun project rockin...

    Hugs
    Tanya

lisvet- I am so sorry to hear your sister's news. It's just not fair. That's good you have a plan for moving forward.

CAmam- glad the HSG went smoothly and good luck with implantation!!! I hope it sticks to a good spot. Maybe starting 4-5 days post IUI I would recommend watching funny TV/reading funny things. It helps with implantation.

Dawn- How are you feeling? Did you figure it out? Could it possibly be implantation or is it too early for that? Can you ask your OB for their opinion?

So my tests came back negative. I've got a 1:120 chance of downs and the numbers are not showing a repeat of last year's problem, so I'm feeling pretty happy and optimistic. But they are being super cautious and monitoring my cervix to make sure it doesn't cause problems. Also, the placenta is covering the cervix, but it's supper early and will probably travel up as my uterus expands. We'll see how the second trimester blood screen goes before deciding on amnio.

Bella - it sounds like everything is going great now. Are you going to find out the sex???

How is everyone doing? I am still not feeling well. I have spent most of the weekend sleeping and I am still tired. Urgh. I can't wait to feel better.
