any advice for FSH of 43??

I have had normal periods my entire life, my ultrasound looked perfect, but was shocked to find that my FSH levels were that high. I am 39. My mother did not begin menopause until her late 40s and my 42 year old sister has conceived twice this year (miscarried both times). Any words of advice??

Hi kra
Somewhere on the boards I read about a book of a woman who had a high FSH level and was able to naturally bring that number down and conceive. I wish I had written the name down but didn't. You could try to go under search and do an advanced search for it on the boards. If you can or can't find it let me know--I would love to have the name of it and if you can't find it I will try to help you search on my day off.

Some ladies have had success lowering their FSH by taking wheatgrass supplements. I am currently taking it, but have not had a repeat FSH level to tell if it has worked.

I suggest you check out and post your question on the High FSH board. The ladies there will have lots of advice for you.
