Patty!!! Hoooray!!!
Let's post here on this little thread each day and help each other make it thru.....
I'm so glad you had good embies transferred!

OK so no symptoms yet hahaha. The PIO shots made my bb's sore already. I'm on Prednisone also (3 days down, 2 to go) and that took a LOT of the swelling from the estrogen patches out of my legs thankfully!

Time to wear my skinny jeans for the last time....

Thanks Christine. I'm so excited!!!!

We need to channel positive energy to each other throughout this 2ww. I hear ya on the PIO. I've only had 2 full shots and a half the day of ER on Tuesday, and I'm already starting to feel the sore boobs too. Now we get to obsess over every little feeling. Yeah!!!!!! It's such a good feeling to be here again, isn't it?

I'm glad you can still fit in your skinny jeans. I've been wanting to tell you how beautiful you look in your wedding photo with your DH, too. Try not over-exert yourself during practice this weekend. I'll check in on you and see how you are doing.

Sticky Vibes to both of us!!!!

Patty,

Today let's have pineapple together. It may be late, but I've heard it's good for the lining and the ph in the implantation area. Maybe a Jamba Juice w/ pineapple added for me later mmmmm.

DH asked me if I was going to POAS today. OMG noooooooo! I have to give him that calendar showing the "growth by day". I think it's on day 12 after retrieval that the HCG is secreted enough to show on a test, right?

Christine --

Funny you mentioned the pineapple thing. I was eyeing up pineapple chunks when I was at the store today....yummmmmmyyy. But then I remembered I still had a can in my cupboard from my last IVF a few months back. I think our embies will be ready to burrow in starting sometime tomorrow or Monday, so it's definitely NOT too late. We are going to win this game this time. I only wish there was a Jamba Juice close to me.

I had to laugh when you said your DH wanted you to POAS already. Too funny!!!! I've read ladies POAS'ing at about 7 or 8dp3dt and getting a positive. Just for the heck of it, I stopped at the Dollar Tree today and picked up 3 more HPTs. They worked for me when I had both of my ectopics, so I know they are reliable. You can't beat the price. I now have 5 of them sitting in my bathroom just waiting to be torn open. I also have 2 Equate sticks left from last time too. I'm set to go!!!!

Patty,
OK my canned pineapple is all gone....have to get some more. I used a few chunks and some juice and made the following for breakfast:

* pineapple chunks and some juice (little bit, like 2 Tbsp)
* Trader Joe's vanilla yogurt (1 cup)
* Trader Joe's Granola cereal with FlaxSeed (1-1.5 cups)

YUM

and a decaf espresso in my little stove-top percolater (got it in Italy, it makes just one cup at a time)....

What's on your schedule today? I have more ballet and yoga (marathon- 1.5 hours yoga stretch, then 5 hours ballet)... then come home & clean the house for Turkey Day... luckily DH will be home this afternoon and do a lot for me already. YOu readin this, PradasPappa?

Christine --

Wow, your breakfast sounds awesome!! I actually skipped breakfast today. I usually do on Sundays. DH and I go to church at 10:30, then stopped by my parents briefly, then went to Panera Bread for lunch (oh I was so dying for an espresso drink while I was there), then grocery shopping and now finally home. We are going to finish putting up Christmas decorations outside while we have decent weather, then continue with decorating our Christmas tree inside which we actually started last night. I can't believe Christmas is only a month away.

I'm jealous that you have your espresso machine and can make decaf espresso. DH and I should have looked for one when we were in Italy on our honeymoon. At least I got to try the authentic stuff while we were there. Yummy. I opened my big can of pineapple chunks and ate half the can last night. I am saving the rest for a snack tonight.

As for excerise right now, I'm still really sore from my ER on Tuesday. I have never been this sore before. Probably because they retrieved all those eggs. I like to do a lot of walking, but even that is hard for me to do right now. I keep telling myself that this pain will all be worth it in the end. I'm so impressed that you can do 5 hours of ballet. It sounds exhausting. I bet your DH gets a lot of the housework done before you get home, providing you trained him well...ha ha. Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year?

Patty,

Did POAS today! I didn't see the line, but DH did. If you hold it up and turn it around a little, yes it's veryyy faint. After 1/2 hr it appeared a teeeensy bit more, but you're not supposed to read it after what 10 minutes?

Good luck to you! Will you POAS today?

Christine -

I'm thinking positive for you! I did POAS today, but I used the Dollar Tree cheapie which only detects at about 20 - 25 units of HCG. No line there for me, but I'm not giving up....this is just the beginning. So I will try again tomorrow and keep trying until beta day. What brand did you use? I'm guessing I probably should have broken down and invested in FRERs, but for now I'll just use what I have. What symptoms do you have, if any?

Keeping my fingers crossed for both of us. I'll check in tomorrow sometime.
