Need Recommendations: OB in NJ and Doc for CVS in NYC

Hello Ladies:

I'm sure this info must be somewhere on the forums but I've tried and failed the search feature! I need some help in choosing Drs.

I'm looking for an OB in the Summit/Livingston area...any recommendations? A friend had recommended Dr. DeGraaff and she no longer accepts new patients.

Also, recommendations for a Dr. to perform CVS in NYC. Other than Dr Evans...anyone know of a Dr that accepts insurance? I have Healthnet. Someone suggested Dr. Wapner but I could find much on him.

Thank you!

Hi Mommy2inNov

My doctor referred me to a doctor at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia hospital
here in NYC for the CVS. I didn't actually go through with it, but I will give you the doctors name and you can google her information. I am not sure how good she is and if she accepts your insurance. Her name is Dr Annettte Perez Delboy. Hope this helps

Good Luck

Here is a link to the NYC support group- under communities.

I also know Darla that post on the parenting and Live Auction BB also lives in NYC and could help. If I think of anyone else... I'll give you their names.
Glad you are here!!!!!

Mommy2inNov: I live in Summit and I got to the Rubino OBGYN group. They have an office at Overlook Hospital in Summit and another one across the street from St. Barnabas in Livingston. Dr. Romero is my doctor there.

I don't know of a peri in NYC, but so far I've been happy with NJ Perinatal Associates at St. Barnabas in Livingston. I have had genetics counselor and my first trimester screening with them.

Thanks everyone. I went to Dr. Wapner in NY for my CVS. He was amazing! And I've chosen Dr. Crane in West Orange (St. Barnabas) and he's probably the best OB/Gyn I've ever come across!
