Changed my mind, cancelled CVS

I cancelled my CVS today because my NT screen results...the blood portion, came back with 1/4000!!!!! We had not expected better than 1/52 as that is our age risk and were under the impression that it does not tend to drop lower than the age amounts.

I did schedule the amnio for March 23 though. But that will be it.

Nice numbers!

In our case, with both #1 (at 39) and #2 (at 41) our numbers also came back much improved based on the bloodwork, although not as improved at 41, which makes sense to me since my risk was higher due to age.

We waited until our level 2 u/s (sometimes called an anatomy scan) to decide on amnio -- they saw no problems or red flags either time so in both cases decided not to do it.

I only mention it so you have the option of getting your scan in prior to amnio if that is of interest to you. And if it's not that's fine too. (There is no right/wrong on all of this testing stuff.)

Congrats again!
