Just wanted to say hello

I've been posting over on the beta board and just found this section today.

I am in very early pregnancy, about 6 weeks. I'm 41 and we've been trying for several years to have a baby. In the past, I have been to be able to get pregnant, just not stay pregnant. This is the first BFP that has stuck past 4 1/2 weeks since my daughter was born in 2004. I am cautiously hopeful.

I posted this already but my 21dpo progesterone is 13.5.
(beta was 2155). I read this prog number is within normal range for early pregnancy but I wanted to check with the AMAs. (hate that name) and see if your experiences see this number as Ok or not ok.

Hi Vicki, Welcome and Congrats!!! AMA is way better than elderly pregnancy.. that was on the first page of my medical chart with dd #1!!!!! Keep giving us an update... when is your first u/s?

hi GoMom! Thanks for the welcome. Elderly... **** that's harsh. I feel that we should at least have stopped menstruating before the establishment even thinks about calling us elderly! Ok AMA it is.

I am not sure about my first U/S. I am having an actual dialog

with my ob about this and we haven't reached a conclusion yet.

Right now, I am leaning towards waiting until I am closer to 11 weeks before I go for an u/s.
