Hopefully you'll get some responses here... but wanted to say come on over to the TTC 40+ board... there's a thread on "successes" and a few very active threads with folks TTC... I'm 40 (41 in 2 weeks) and feel like the youngin compared to many there. :-)
There's also a very active group on the secondary IF board, with at least a few who are 42+.
Me? Hoping to get my miracle (TTC #2) at 41.
Best of luck,
-Tia

You have to go to the "Infertility" forum and then scroll down to "Over 40". Good luck!

Hi I am 42.5 and recently pg with #2; natural conception. I am only 5 weeks and still feeling "catiously optimistic" until I see the U/S (I lost early pgs last year-too hard). My betas and testosterone look good now, so I keep focusing on that.
Best of luck

But after getting pregnant, somehow, on our own....outta the blue...
and then miscarrying
....I realized that I'd LOVE another!! So, if it's in our cards....I'm ready
We'll see!!!! I might just check out the TTC over 40 board too

Hi there~I'm 41 and just found I'm 6 weeks pregnant, I'll be 42 in Dec!! We were getting ready to do our first IVF cycle and decided to wait another month so we could go to NY!!
I've had 3 m/c's in the past, one at 37 spontanous at 8 weeks, 2nd one at 39 Cystic Hygroma/Turner's Syndrome at 10 weeks and the 3rd at 40, Blighted Ovum at 10 weeks!! Failed IUI in Sept 07
So now pregnant again, I feel like I'm going to have a panic attack everytime I lay on that table for the US!! I had my first US last Fri and the Dr couldn't see anything!! Had another one this morning and the sac is there but no heart beat
yet!! So he said come back next Fri!! He said it's still too early. MY HCG's have been doubling and today it was 4418 so I was relieved after they called Me with my results because Tues it was 2057. There is a great book out there called "You can get pregnant over 40" by Sandy Robertson. I wish everyone the best of luck
the road to infertility is a very bumpy one!! JENNY

Congratulations Jen!!!!!!!!!
Sorry for your losses, but glad to hear about your spontaneous little surprise. I am 42.5. DH and I were looking into IVF and got pregnant during the blood work /consultation visits. I'm currently 6w;1 day. I too experienced multiple losses last year; including BO of twins. That really through us for a loop. The RE diagnosed me with PCOS the week I conceived and that may have contributed to the m/cs last year. I'm currently taking Metformin which helps reduce m/c rates in women with PCOS and/or insulin resistance.
I totally understand about the panic attack feeling. I could not even sleep last night thinking about my "lack of symptoms"; I was quite sick with DD. This time only tiredness, and some breast tenderness. My doc's office was willing to scan me this week, but with the BO ordeal last year, I wanted to wait until week 7. So, I'm still sweating it out till next Thursday (7w;1d u/s).
Best of luck to you and I'll look forward to seeing your u/s picture on the board next week!
Best of luck to you and all the ladies here.

CONGRATS also to YOU Victoria!!
Please keep me posted after your US next week!! Do you have one child already?! Every one of my pregnancies was different, my first 2 I didn't have any nausea at all, just my boobs were sore as HELL!! Now with the 3rd, the Blighted Ovum, I was nauseated all the **** time!!
And with this pregnancy, my boobs are killing me and the nausea waxes and wanes!! So have a great weekend and think of your pregnancy as on auto pilot!! JENNY
