A swing!!! Its been a life-saver for us! We even have a travel swing.

Another good product is the ultimate crib sheet.

Zippered sleepers

Hmmm....I'm sure there are more things I couldn't live without, but I can't think of them at the moment.

Do you want a sling or a front carrier?- I always love my Baby Bjorn carrier- but I wish I had tried the sling.

If your breastfeeding, I really liked the MAYAWRAP I could breastfeed in public and no one knew plus it had a lot of fabric to cover with. So it wasnt a pain if I didnt have "the right " nursing top.

As far as "hot" Bottles. I would be careful. I have been doing some research and they are finding that the bottles are made of a plastic of recycled and its containing bisholA I think I spelled that wrong. I can try to find the link. But It s a chemical that has been found and linked to infertiltiy, prostate cancer ,autism (suspisions) and lots of others. Its in the recycle # 1 has the least and 7 being the worse. The manufactures were looking into going back glass bottles. They are trying to do it with out coming into massive lawsuits. So be careful. They also have found bisphol A contaniments in formula cans. The rim. and in soups, can of anything really. But the drop ins are supposed to be safest. They also conmented about tubberware. How many of you heat stuff up in the microwave or put plastic in the dishwasher? Well its saying that your heating it up and that it seeps through. Its scary stuff. We think were doing good recyleing and its kinda killing us.

I will try to find the link I think you can look it up in FDA.

Unfortunately there is no great "instead" of yet. Thats why you havent heard about it hard core yet. The only thing they have been able to think of is glass. And yes its not a good resort. You know you might want to check out is the fish store. I know my husband uses there water bottles for his shakes at work and they are still plastic and they have no chemicals in them because the damage it could cause the fish. So give that a try. Its better than nothing.

Anyone else have any good ideas for a new baby? I wont be having a shower (its my fourth) but I still need ideas for somthing new.

Infantino Sling didn't work on either of our twins. We got a bjorn for our third on the way.

FP take along swing is a good option, but it only swings one direction. It's good for travel or moving about the home.

Primo Euro tub is great (molded for newborn and ideal for growing infant).

Friends rave about over sized receiving blankets. (larger and square)

As this is your fourth, you may not want to consider the bumbo seat. It's a novel idea, but short lived. people have complained over it tipping too.

look forward to more ideas myself.
