shef Level 1
please help, urgent

does anyone know what the risks are of missing 1-2 doses of progesterone in the first trimester??? I was supposed to receive a delivery of the med tonight, but the pharmacy never delivered. I took my last dose this morning, and now am missing tonight and probably the A.M. dose.
Please advise!

Shef,
I had to look back on a previous post to see how many weeks you were. At nine weeks you are probably ok. The placenta starts kicking in and I know they stop giving prog support about 8-9 wks with IVF... with both my IVF babies... so I would bet you are fine and so is the baby. How long do they want you to take progesterone? Just take one as soon as you get it today. I have missed a day befroe and I only took it once a day... I know others who missed a day before too...
IHTH,
J

I completely stopped progesterone at 9 wks. along. I ran out after graduating from the RE and before going to the OB and the RE said I didn't need them any longer. So I think you should be okay.
