Placenta previa

Hello- Haven't visited in awhile. Trying to avoid the internet, and certain books and certain people full of labor/birth horror stories. Yup, it's reached that point but I'm still happy as can be about being pregnant. And am now in my 2nd trimester. So, I went in for a quad screen to a perinatal specialist. He said I have placenta previa but he believes it will move and is not a problem. Anyone else encounter this? The more I read about it the more worried I get. See? That's why I have to avoid the computer. I get sucked right in!

Hope everyone is doing well with their babies and/or pregnancy!

Lorie

Yup..I had that with DD. THey just watched it and it did move away and everything was AOK with that.

I know what you're saying about being on the internet. You can really freak yourself out.

I didn't have it......but I agree with you....the more ya read....the more scared you get! I drove my Mom wild crazy when I was pregnant with "what if's".

I hope it corrects itself and that you'll get along juuuust fine! You will likely be monitored more? If so...that's fun!

Congrats on the 2nd tri...
