Cautiously joining

Hi all,

I started my hpt saga last week thursday (my crazy post is on the BBT, HPT board). Anyway, 5 hpts's later I am pg. My first beta on monday was 114. Waiting for the results from my second beta today. I'll be 37 in Sept. Had a ds in 01 with three losses since ttc#2 in '03 (hence, my reason for being cautious). However, I am determined to enjoy this pregnancy, so I am taking things one day at a time and for today I am pg. My edd based on lmp on the baby center calendar is 3/22.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone else,
Pecan

Pecan, WELCOME!! And we all understand the cautiousness. You've got a great attitude about enjoying your pregnancy.

For the first week or so of my pregnancy it was a real rollercoaster and the docs told me I was having an ectopic and wanted me to take the meth shot--after I got off that ride I decided I would enjoy being pregnant and not worry at all. (I've been almost successful at that)

so happy for you Pecan

Pecan,

I knew you'd be here soon. Are there any more from our original group of 18 (or was it 19?) gals that were on the two week wait last May?

So happy for you. I'm so glad you are pregnant. Congratulations on your first beta. I'm exactly 4 weeks ahead of you, so we'll have to keep in touch. I had my u/s last week and we have a healthy baby with a great heartbeat.

I'll be thinking about you and smiling over your good news.

Way to go,

Heather

Thanks so much for the welcome ladies.

Heather, if I recall correctly you and katiecaskey got bfp's from that thread. Congratulations on a great heartbeat! I have some waiting to do before I get to that point.

MelissaS, what a nightmare you have been through with the dr just giving up so soon like that. Sometimes we have to go with our gut hunches and be our own best advocate.

I am so happy to see you here and this is where you need to be...Lots of nerves when you have had prev losses and just need that extra support during your pg...Good luck today with your second beta...Please update when you get a chance.
