6-11-// 6-17th....NEW UPDATES
Well we have all survived another week...It has been a busy one and next one is even worse for me so I'll be missing lots girls....
Let me start with our fellow friend Barbara(oldermamma) keep her and dh in your prayers as her MIL is not doing well. I saw her update on the July dd bb and she is in really not good place but hopefully healing and will enjoy meeting her new grand baby soon....Barbara if you get a chance to just check here we are praying for your family.... My update. I am going into my 9th week this week. I called to cancel my urologist appt b/c of having an x-ray is out and have to take my dd to dentist on Tues...He personally called me and wants me to see a kidney specialist. Well the specialist called Friday am and I am doing a 24 hr urine test today and tomorrow I have to go in and turn it in and do bloodwork for them. My appt is on Thursday to have it reviewed.. Some of you may not know but I have lots of stones still in my left kidney and they have some concerns about my out put...I knew this before getting pg as I dropped a kidney stone from my rt kidney back in Nov...Long story...Keep me in your prayers that all is just well and need to extra hydrate and deal with it after my pg... I am growing belly wise and almost unable to fit in to my prepg clothes and I believe it is b/c this is my second pg...That old belly is just expanding so much faster this time. Last time I was 14- 16 weeks before really gaining...ARRG!!!!!!!! Other than all this I am feeling better still some nausea and really tired but ok.... Just looking forward to ordering a baby beat soon and my dr appt on July 3rd...Still 3 weeks away....Anyway looking forward to seeing your updates... Jen have a safe trip to the beach.

HI Amy and Everyone:
Thank you for your kind words and prayers. I am glad to see everyone has continued to make it through another week. Amy I will of course keep you in my prayers that everything will be fine and you remember to extra care of yourself. Thank you for updating everyone for me. I will try to post more this week - but I just wanted to reply to Tia's post as I know this is such hard decision and I wandered all over the internet looking for someone/anyone to e-speak with about it. My thoughts are with all of you and again thank you for your prayers and good thoughts ( I am sending them back to all of you) Barbara |

Barbara -- thinking of you and your family.
Amy -- I'm not sure if I new about your stones or not. Sending good thoughts your way. Hope everyone had a good weekend. Our computer is making unhappy noises, so we have started powering it off once in a while. Usually we keep it running 24/7. It makes it more difficult to "pop in" for a few minutes when you have to wait for the machine to boot! LOL. I'm 6w3d today. Waiting for u/s#2 on Wed afternoon. Hoping to see the heartbeat. DH turned 41 on Saturday. Boy, talk about making me feel older! I can deal with being 39, but having a hubby who's 41? We're heading to a concert tomorrow night (Boston Pops) as part of his present. I'm hoping it keeps me distracted while waiting for Wed to arrive. I've mentioned it already, but I'm scheduled for travel to Japan next month, and very much on the fence about whether to go. I've been there a bunch of times already, so the "thrill" factor is not high for me. I mostly believe if something were to happen while I'm traveling it would have happened no matter where I was.... but if something did happen while I was in Japan I'm not sure I would be able to forgive myself. If that's not making sense, blame it on the preggo brain. ;-) To complicate things, the timing would pretty much make it impossible for me to get a CVS test, although I'm not even sure I want it yet! And unfortunately if I'm going to cancel my trip I need to make other arrangements asap. I guess if this is my worst problem at the moment, I'm in good shape. ;-) Happy Monday all, -Tia |

Tia - Good luck with your decisions!! They're pretty tough ones! I can't wait until you post about seeing your h/b on Wednesday!!!
Amy - I'm already gaining but I haven't had a successful pg yet. I think I'm just getting fat from all of my "good girl treats" after each injection. Barbara - I will continue to keep you and your family in my prayers Jacqw - Check in.......k? As of Saturday I am done with my PIO. I am now inserting 2 prometrium daily. Messy!! I have an appt scheduled for my soon to be former OB this Thursday but I'm not sure I am going to go. I have TWO appointments the following Friday with a new OB. I ordered my doppler on Friday and it will probably come tonight or tomorrow. Since I am only 8w1d I don't think I will have any luck finding a h/b yet.

hi all.
so glad to see everyone is doing well. I started the prometruim on Sunday, hound. It is better than having the shot...but I agree...kind of messy. it is one step further in this process....so that makes me happy. by the way, I am staying on the prometruim through 12 weeks. And, my ob wants me on the baby asprin until at least 12 weeks. so confusing! I had a bit of a stressful weekend. On saturday, I started spotting red. ugh. My heart sunk into my stomach. I called RE and went in for an U.S. on sunday. fortunately, the ultrasound was reassuring...185 hb and measurements all looked great. that was quite a relief. After Dh and I left the doctor's office, they called and said that they wanted to give me a Rhogam shot as a precaution --I am A- blood type. I had this shot when I had a m/c and I was under the impression that I would have it after birth--but I was not aware of a practice of having the shot when spotting. I spoke to my RE this am (I was dealing with the on-call doc yesterday) and she wants me to have the shot. Does anyone have any experience with this? |

I was told to stop my baby aspirin last Monday. That makes me very nervous. I can't get in to see an OB until the 23rd.
Where is your OB Jacqw? I have an appt set up for this Thursday with my old OB and I can't decide whether or not to go because I will have to take off work (the whole day) next Friday so I can go to my 2 appts with my new OB. I don't know about rh neg.
