Weekly Updates 5-28 through 6-3
Thought htis would help to make it easier to keep up with all of us. Love to hear what is going on with you this week. I know there is a calendar for us too...but I do not know how to link. I am computer idiot..so if someone when they get time could link it to this weekly post I would appreciate it. Anyone wanting to start a new thread on Sundays please feel free to do it. This is for all of us over 35 girls no matter when your dd is. Looks like we are going to have quite a few of us so please update so we can be here for you and grow together.
Nothing new for me this week....Just another week of worrying about what I am going to see next Monday at my U/S...Praying we see a heartbeat and baby and not a blighted ovum....Thanks for being here for me. I am starting to get over this horrible head cold very slowly...but I see light at the end of the tunnel...Jump on in girls and give us your update. If your new add your info and jump on in too....We love to support you during this time.

Weekly Updates 5-28 through 6-3
I have my ob appointment again tomorrow. My bp was on the high end last week again so she's checking that. Tried to explain I am super reactive and had a tough day (plus it was afternoon so more tired) but she threatened me with hospital bedreset and put me on afternoon bedrest. Got dh to go buy a home monitor so have been taking bp at home (it's fine ) so taking those readings into her as obviously I am going to be stressed about my bp!Other than that - still feel quite good for 34 weeks along. Baby is still moving about and hurts almost at times as she's big now and those big movements are really felt. STill have not got a name! Dh and I can't decide. So going to narrow it down to 10 and then when she gets here - decide what suits her. He refuses to let me have the name I want so we are battling! So funny - never thought he would care so much. Hope all is well with everyone and their little beans. Barbara |

Good luck tomorrow....sounds like your pressure is doing fine but keep an eye on it as this was when mine started going crazy with my first pg...I also delivered at 35 weeks ...my water broke after being admitted to see how pre-eclampic I was so baby was ready...Hope you find a name soon as your llittle one would love to be called by a name. That is the part I dread the most too which is always an argument for us too but in the end I am sure he/she will have one as everyone does. We are also going to have troubles finding godparents for this one too...ARRG!!!!!

Hey ladies,
Thank you for checking on me ladies. Things seem to be a little better today. (smile) For the moment. Great great great!! Got the new thread going. Thanks ANP!! You Rock!! Peaceprof - My Estimated Due Date is Jan 2, 2007. As far as the nausea, at the beginning of the 6 weeks, it was just in the morning if I didn't eat soon enough. Then, in the 7th week, it started in the morning and lasted until around 11:30am. Then during the 8th week, it started in the morning and lasts all day up until around 7:30pm. Then it starts over the next morning. (smile) Prayerfully in the second trimester, it will go away and Hormones will balance out. Barbara - You hang in there, you don't have long left huh? (smile) this is going to be so exciting. Hope your appt goes well tomorrow. Keep us posted on the little one and on you. To the rest of you hope things are going well for you. God bless. BIG HUGS to everyone. |

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope you all had great weekends.
We didn't go anywhere but we got a lot accomplished. It feels really good to get things done!! DH helped me clean the floors, we've got wood floors and between the hairballs and the "misplaced" cat food, and the dusk kittie, they were getting disgusting!! He vacuumed and I washed. Nice and clean!! We've also been slooooooowly getting our bathroom painted and finished the ceiling and bought the new lighting fixture. Plush a lot of other little errands we needed to get out of the way. . . I have to admit, I'm a real witch these days. I know DH blames it on being pregnant, but I am the most impatient %&#^$ in the world. I can't tolerate anything not going my way or having to explain myself twice or to do anything that make me feel uncomfortable. I actually apologized for being so nasty--and of course got nasty all over again. uuuuugggggg!! Friday is my scan day-FINALLY!! Barbara hope your b/p stays under control. It is definitely something that needs to be watched closely. Hope all goes well today. Peace--Congrats on everything turning out wonderfully!! Glad you could rejoin us!! ANP--Thanks for starting the thread. If you start getting tired and feeling like you can't keep it up, let us know, hopefully me or someone else can take it over.

Melissa - I'm sorry you're betting b@tchy. I wouldn't know anything about that. COUGH COUGH!!
My meltdown continued on Friday when I got home I sobbed and sobbed and sobbed. Mind you ........ I am NOT a crier! I felt so sick Friday AND Saturday. My parents took pitty on me and came down Sunday night and spent the night. They're AWESOME! Luckily I was feeling a bit better. Yesterday I started feeling not so great again. My dh got home at 10pm last night. I'm so anxious for this day to be over so I can go home and cuddle with him!!!
