finally able to come to this board

after nearly 12 years of TTC , I am now 7 weeks pg. Years and years of idiotic dr's not knowing what to do & all i did was read the IF boards for a few weeks , and put myself on metformin -

Im super paranoid & put myself on 100% bedrest , when does the paranoia go away. This is my 1st pg ever. btw - im 37

Hi - Welcome. Being scared/worried comes with being pregnant and if you have been trying for a long time - I think it makes it more so. Just try and hang in there - take it one day at a time. I don't know what to say - I was very afraid too - I am older - tried for many years - had a loss and I think once you hit each milestone (you know 12 weeks - then 2nd trimester - then viable date) it gets easier and easier.

Congratulations!

Barbara

Congratulations! The worry does not go away...at least for me it didn't! Now I worry about my dd constantly. It's all part of pregnancy and motherhood. I posted a very similar post while I was pg. And the ladies told me the same thing!

Kloo-CONGRATULATIONS! I'm glad things have been working out. I'm 10w today, and I can tell you the paranoia will probably never completely go away.

I just push the bad thought out of my mind when I realize I'm having them.
