UPDATE on 15w1day Dr visit

UGH...Boring visit again...lol
gained 3 lbs am now at 111.5lbs
took some sort of blood test afp4?
didn't really want any sort of testing...only wanted a level2 U/s for piece of mind.
UGH!!! GRRRRR!!!Sceduled for 19.5 weeks!!
my last one was done at 17!
I think 19.5 weeks is a bit late.
I guess i feel like i am not being watched as well as when i was 35.
Daddy lives in new jersey and I in florida and i'll be going up the week BEFORE the U/S and he was a bit sad that we won't know what we are having before he see's me(silly daddy)
We ar both nervous due to our ages and i feel like if i at least have a reassuring level 2 soon i can try to function and not cry worrying everyday.

So- nothing new. Do you and baby's daddy have a lond distance relationship? Will you be together after birth or are you flying solo? I hate when DH is away for a night (maybe 3 times a year)- cannot imagine another city...
When do you get your results of the afp?

Hi:

Even though I had an amnio I still have to go back for an u/s at the Women's Hospital at 191/2 - 20 1/2 weeks as they check fetal anatomy. I think as Athena said - it seems to be the standard time to do a good check on things. I know I was basically told that was the time I had to have it done.
