I was 41 when my first dd was born. We did IUI(Dh's Sperm). We used injectables, 6 follies, one stuck. The doc was amazed i got preganant. At 44 I delivered my twins. We tried 4 iui's with injectables. I always had 8 or more follies. They didn't work. We did a donor IVF and had our twins. Per my RE, there is a big difference between 40 and 44 in egg quality.

I got a bfp yesterday and took a total of 5 HPTs which were all +++. Couldn't believe my eyes. I'm 39 - will turn 40 next month - and this would be our first Conceived naturally. I was suppose to call the RE that my Ob/gyn referred me to when my period started to schedule an HSG and an initial consult b/c we've been trying for 6 cycles w/o success. Guess that won't be necessary if this one sticks!

Sending lots of baby dust to everyone!!!

We've been doing natural - but with prog supps. We were planning on going to the RE in March - if we didn't conceive on our own. Luckily at 42 I'm still very fertile.

HI

I'm late replying but I've been busy LOL

All my babes are from my own eggs and DHs sperm, my problem was tubal so we got lucky that my eggs were still "good"

I had DD and DS in 2002 via IVF, I was 9 days short of my 41st birthday.

3 weeks ago I had DD 2 and 3, we returned 2 embryos. They came from the same IVF (FET this time) and I am now 44

I hope things work out for you

I a 41 and pregnant with twins from IVF using my own eggs. I just saw the heartbeats last Thursday, and they're doing great! Everything is right on track, and sizes are also measuring perfect. These babies gave me nice strong betas.... 12past 3 day transfer beta was 696.... 2 days later 1678.... 2 days later 3400, so I really am hopeful they are going to continue to grow strong and healthy. It's possible there was 3 that tried to implant (I have an extra sack with no pole or yolk they said may be blood), but atleast two babies have stuck.

Congratuations to all of you! Donna, wow, you must joyfully just have your hands so full! Congrats and good luck!!

I got pregnant (with own eggs) two times at 40, once naturally which sadly miscarried at 8 weeks, and then during our second IVF cycle. Our son was born 11 weeks ago, perfect as can be

I am 42 and pregnant with my own egg. I went through the fertility treatments for ages with no success. This baby was all on our own!

There can be hope!
