Nuchaltranslucency test questions....

First, has anyone had this test done? Can you tell me if your ultrasound technician allowed you to watch the ultrasound or do they keep the screen turned strictly to themself? I really want to sneak another peak at this baby and think I would be disappointed if they wouldn't let me watch. Do they draw your blood in the office? How long do the results take to come back?

thank you for any info.

Tami

I've never had one but I have always ben able to see other u/s's. My blood work is usually done in the office or in a nearby lab a few floors down. Give us an update.

Hi Tami,

I had one of these a couple of weeks ago and she showed us everything as she measured. She even found out the gender and shared that with us (after asking if it was ok) during that visit. As for the blood, I was an IVF patient so they drew blood like vampires for months! My next OB appt (16 wks) next week they will draw more!

Good luck to you,
Brandi
