OVer 40

I had my son last Oct. I was 42 as well. My pregnancy was uneventful. There are a lot of woman who have children into their late 40's and older so if you want a 2nd I say go for it. I may have a 2nd as well but I want to wait until my son is 4. We shall see. I used donor embryos as well.

HI

Ihad my DS and DD 9 days before I turned 41. First ever time pregnant after long IVF battle. We delivered at 34w6d due to pre eclampsia and both of them were fine and healthy.

This time I around I will be 44 when I have my next two. Yep twins again, I don't do things by halves LOL.

If you are in good shape, and heck even if you aren't but know you can handle it I say go for your dreams. You never know unless you try. I was told I'd never have children and now I am Mum to 4

50/50 I'll be one month into being 41 years old when I deliver my twins. I can't say my pregnancy has been uneventful (I've been sick on and off from the start), but I know that if you're in shape and healthy, you can have a great pregnancy well into your 40's. Good luck!

Mary,

You go girl........if we had embryos left, I think I would be right behind you, but we are not up to going through what a fresh cycle would entail......everything!

You better post to us when you decide to do it....

I've been reading your thread and it gives me hope. I was so invested in trying to get pg before my 38th bday next month! I know there is life after that date and if we are not pg, we will keep trying. Thanks!

Good luck to you. I will let you know what I end up doing. Not sure I have the guts to do this again...although then again....

I am so happy now. Not sure I want to risk what I have. Talk soon. Mary
