Did anyone else here have high blood pressure before their pregnancy?

I'll post on the parenting board too for women who have gone through the whole pregnancy, but I'd like to get info about how pregnancies have gone when the mom had high blood pressure before the pregnancy. I was on 2 medicines for high blood pressure and one medicine for high triglycerides/cholesterol. A specialist took me off one of the hbp meds and the cholesterol medicine until I see the OB in May. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am not sure if I already posted this on another board or not, but I had blood pressure prior to my first pregnancy and still have high blood pressure. For the first trimester, I am only taking Aldomet. In my previous pregnancy, I was prescribed Procardia after the first trimester was over as Procardia is not safe in the first trimester. I most likely will be put on Procardia again this pregnancy in addition to the Adomet.

Update

I went to my cardiologist last night. My blood pressure meds have been increased from 250 miligrams of Aldomet 4 times a day to 500 miligrams 3 times a day. I am to see a Perinatologist again this pregnancy as I am again high risk. Last pregnancy I was on bedrest for 5 months!
