Greenies

I have been hearing a lot of bad press about Greenies the past two days. What do you all think? I watched a news channel and a vet stated they were not safe and he had performed operations to remove chunks of Greenie from dogs' digestive systems. The makers of Greenies state they are 100% safe and there are websites backing Greenies. I hate conflicting information!

I have 2 yorkies and they chew them all the time! Love them! They've had the greenies for over 100lb dogs and they are only 5lbs! I just takes them longer to chew. I am a member of a yorkie web site and never a bad word about greenies. Ceasers on the other hand ....

One of my cats LOVES the feline greenies - the other two won't touch them with a ten-foot-pole. I'm crossing my fingers that there isn't any problem with giving them to her. As for the dog ones, I think you just have to make sure that you give them the right size greenie for the size dog they are so they don't scarf them down whole, or try to eat one that's too big for them.

I will never give these to any of may animals I have read of at least 5-10 pets who have died from them I wont give them anything even like greenies I feel I would rather be safe than loose a beloved pet.
