Thanks Amanda for the reassurance. I look forward to having thick and shiny hair soAlso good to hear lack of symptoms is normal. I actually went out and bought a HPT today because I became convinced I was no longer pregnant! I have no symptoms, even my fatigue of the past couple of weeks is gone. Anyway, got a + which has somewhat reassured me...for now! Really looking forward to the u/s next Tues - maybe then I'll "believe"

Hello ladies!
Julia - Don't worry those A-cups will soon be C-cups!
Amanda - My 1st U/S which was at 6wk1day was internal. Good luck
Hope - I also wish that my appt's were every week instead of every 2 weeks. Although I have a feeling if they were the 7 days would seem just as long as the 14 days seem! I had to take another look at things and realize that when my RE releases me to OB/GYN I will wish for the 2WW timeframe, seeing how the OB/GYN usually only see's you once a month until you get to the last month which they see you once a week.
AFM - I am finally beginning to feel a little better and I couldn't be happier. Quick question has anyone's RE said when they plan on releasing you to OB/GYN?

I'm back from my ultrasound. I was so nervous this morning I was literally shaking. It was all good news though....we are officially having twins! Both babies are measuring 5w6d (technically I'm 6w1d but my RE said that's fine) and we saw heartbeats for both of them! No measurement on the heartbeats but my RE said everything looks great. I have my first OB appointment on March 9th and was told to keep taking my Prometrium for 3 more weeks. I am very relieved that we were able to see the heartbeats and that things look good so far. First milestone down!

Good morning ladies! Sorry, I am SO far behind on so many things.....and on top of it I am getting sick. Yuck.
So, I had my first u/s yesterday and I'm thrilled to say that everything looks good thus far. It was a little awkward because my doctor had a resident with him and the resident was still learning how to use the internal u/s machine....and oh my did he have trouble finding everything and keeping it all on screen. We were able to see and hear the heartbeat and if I remember correctly it was 130bpm. I have an u/s scheduled for 2 weeks and sometime in between I need get some inital blood work done to map out blood type, etc. Well, I guess I can honestly say things are sinking in for me...and seeing the little blob made me believe this might just be happening. It just still seems so surreal to me.
Shannon --- we need an update, I think you go back tomorrow, right?!? Sending prayers and good thoughts your way!
brown eyed girl -- congrats on the twins!
kedswifekensmom - I've been with my OB the entire time, I got lucky with him and his "specialty" is infertily!
Delgirl -- too funny. I hate to admit it, but I did the same thing!

Congrats to Brown-eyed and Amanda on great reports from your US appointments.
I go back in the morning for my follow up US. I'm still having lots of symptoms, including some sickness, indegestion, sore bbs, etc. Of course, symptoms mean nothing sometimes.
I'm hopeful, but also trying to remain realistic. I've actually prayed a lot about it and I think I will be at peace with what ever we find out tomorrow.
Thanks for your thoughts, prayers and wishes...I'll let you know when I hear something tomorrow.

brown_eyed_girl-Congrats! That's great news!
Amanda-So glad your us went well!
AFM-I can't stand this waiting game! Still feeling like my symptoms have gone and it makes me a bit nervous. The only thing I still have is terrible constipation (sorry), which left me with some cramping, so now I'm even more nervous. Don't know if it's cramps or just my stomach bothering me from the bathroom issues.

brown eyed & Amanda - congrats on the great news!
SV - good luck tomorrow!
Hope N Faith - I've got horrible constipation too! I've been taking 100 colace, which hasn't helped too much. My RE said it would be ok to take Milk of Magnesia, so I might try that if it continues to worsen. Extra fiber and water (I already get a lot anyway) have never helped me, although for some maybe it can. With my first pregnancy which had a successful outcome I had very little symptoms, so don't worry. On another note. Not everyone gets big bbs. My bbs barely got any bigger (mostly my chest) with my successful and 18 wk pregnancy (went from 34b to 38b). I did end up with a lack of supply for my DD and had to supplement formula with the breastmilk. For me, it was supposedly a genetic thing. Also, many people successfully breastfeed with small bbs.
AFM, to introduce myself, I have secondary IF with a number of m/c. So I'm still feeling like we're still in the process of trying to have a baby and probably won't feel secure about anything until I have a successful outcome. Today I had great news on my US. The RE found a strong flicker and based on my history thinks I have a better than 50% chance of a good outcome. I'm 6 wk 4 days. He also found what looks like a second yolk sac that's not viable and another area with fluid. We put in 2, 3D and if we had put in 3 he would have thought it was from a third one. I had some spotting last week and he thinks it could be from that and if I stopped progesterone now, I would definitely spot. My next scan is next Thurs. As far as symptoms my uterus and lower back is sore, I'm super constipated, easily grouchy, and sensitive bbs. My ovaries still bug me a bit from the leftover cysts too, but mostly I'm annoyed by my uterus.
